Woman gets probation in home invasion
A St. Paul woman received deferred judgment in Johnson County District Court for an April home invasion on Haywood Drive. Samantha Robinson-Ricks, 19, pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and earned three years probation with a $1000 civil penalty suspended and restitution to be shared with four co-defendants. The incident involved smashing a sliding glass door at 200 block Haywood Drive at 3 02 a.m. April 12 and forcing occupants to the floor while items were stolen.

Public rededication marks Masonic Lodge 100th anniversary
In Cedar Rapids the Grand Lodge of Iowa will conduct a 100th anniversary rededication at 1 p.m. for the Masonic Lodge at 210 Sixth St NE. The public may observe the 45 minute ceremony featuring a building consecration with corn wine and oil and presentations about the lodge history. The building was once the Scottish Rite Temple.
