Eight charged in Traer alcohol incident event
Ten charges filed in Tama County Magistrate Court against eight people after an early Saturday incident at the Sunnyside Tavern in Traer. Delbert Boldt faces liquor law violations. others charged include John Pippett Nelson Clutter Danker Schmidt Stanley and Janette Le with additional counts for disturbance and possession. All are scheduled to appear in Traer Magistrate Court.

Theft from home tops Marion crime reports of week
Marion police logged 19 thefts including five bicycles and $558 value air conditioner and tools stolen from Steve Gordon's unlocked home at 700 35th St. Other incidents included one assault, two burglaries, two criminal mischiefs, one indecent exposure and one criminal trespass.
