New Temperatures Rising debuts with revamped cast on ABC
Television critic notes the updated Temperatures Rising features Cleavon Little as a serious surgeon, Paul Lynde as Dr Mercy, and a sharper, chattier tone. While the premiere offers feeble plotting, the improved cast and leaner humor hint at brighter episodes if writing strengthens.
