British judges allow separation of Siamese twins
The Court of Appeal ruled unanimously that doctors may separate Siamese twins Jodie and Mary, a surgery that would spare one life though it would kill the other. The parents, Roman Catholics from Gozo Malta, may appeal to the House of Lords. Mary would die if the girls remain joined. Jodie could survive solo.
