Mercy upgrades target renovated operating rooms on campus
A UI Hospitals and Clinics proposal outlines converting the former Mercy Hospital into a modern facility with 14 operating rooms and updated diagnostic spaces. Officials say current rooms are underused and improvements would expand capacity and support state of the art equipment while also upgrading a nearby medical office building and downtown campus parking structure.
