Hawkeye Wave Way renamed in UI campus
The University of Iowa will rename South Hospital Drive to Hawkeye Wave Way on its health care campus to honor the Dance Marathon tradition started in 2017 at the Stead Family Children's Hospital. The path links Hawkins Drive to South Grand Avenue near the hospital, echoing a wave-out to patients during home games while a trademark dispute over For The Kids remains unresolved.
