A Cedar Rapids development group and Linn County Gaming Association hold two memorandums of understanding that bar the city from backing any third party casino bids not approved by the Cedar Rapids Development Group. Linn County agreement runs to Oct 2017 and Cedar Rapids to Oct 2019, keeping existing terms in force despite a denied 2014 Cedar Crossing license.
