Nation's Fashion Arbiters Keep Fall Men’s Style Largely Conservative
Fashion editors note a conservative fall and winter for men with a return of the double breasted suit, restrained color palettes, and classic patterns. The Balmacan coat, rougher fabrics like tweeds, and varied hat styles mark the most distinctive updates, while shoes, shirts, ties, and outerwear emphasize muted tones and practical silhouettes.
