Theaters present a busy lineup with Paramount announcing a fan season of releases and a side variety of dramatic pictures. On stage Oct 6 7 8 and 9 Shuffle Along comes to town as a preview. Stars Leslie Howard Douglas Fairbanks jr Margaret Lindsay and Paul Lukas highlight the Paramount slate starting Wednesday.
Ronald Colman stars in The Masquerader at the Iowa theater Friday as dual roles and identities drive a tale of two men who resemble each other. The program also features The Heart Punch with Lloyd Hughes and Marian Shilling, a melodrama of prize fighting, a murder and romance, plus a comedy and news reel.
The Paramount theater will screen Captured for three days starting Wednesday featuring Leslie Howard Douglas Fairbanks Jr Margaret Lindsay and Paul Lukas. The article notes the role of women in the drama and includes background on Margaret Lindsay as Monica.

Damon Runyon's tale stars Warren William May Robson and Guy Kibbee along with a strong supporting cast. Featurettes include a Mickey Mouse cartoon The Mad Doctor Flying Gloves sport thriller and RKO news.
Film review notes Three Cornered Moon based on the stage hit with Richard Arlen Claudette Colbert and Mary Boland in a comic tale of a ruined family. Also mentions Beer and Pretzels and a Grantland Rice Sportlight segment, plus Kemp band history and European success.
Hal Kemp and his internationally popular orchestra will perform at Danceland Thursday from 9 pm to 1 am. Manager Frank Brookhiser notes featured singer Deane Janis, the red-haired contralto famed in Chicago clubs and radio. Kemp's band is known for its distinctive sound and broad appeal.
