Warrant Issued in Cedar Rapids Teacher Case
A Linn County judge issued an arrest warrant for Mary Beth Haglin a former Washington High substitute teacher accused of a sexual relationship with a 17 year old student. Bail set at 6500. Trial scheduled for November 14.

Cedar Rapids officers identified in fatal domestic disturbance shooting
Two Cedar Rapids Police Department officers hired in 2008 were identified as the ones who fired at Markell Bivins, 25, during a domestic disturbance at Valley High Apartments. Both officers are on paid leave as the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation reviews the case. Raelynn Finn, 25, was hospitalized after the attack and praised the responders.
