Jim Harrison aged 68 of St Paul received a 30 day floater sentence for vagrancy. George Owen, 16 of 112 Twenty Fourth Street NE, fined 10 dollars plus costs for speeding 45, fine suspended on payment of costs and surrender of license for 15 days.
At St Luke s hospital a son was born Sept 15 to Mr and Mrs AD Lent of 1915 C avenue NE Mercy hospital reports a son for Mr and Mrs Jay H Davis of Marengo on Sept 15 A son born Sept 16 to Mr and Mrs James Chester of 1322 Ninth Street NW A daughter born Sept 8 at St Luke s hospital to Mr and Mrs Ralph W Ford of 1641 A avenue NE was mislisted as living at 1621 A avenue in Wednesday s Gazette correction.
At 3 12 p m Friday a Milwaukee railroad bridge at Ninth avenue and First street SE triggered a still alarm after eight minutes with slight damage noted.
Ed Fane, 57, at large, sentenced to 36 days in the county jail for toxication. Norman Taylor fined $10 plus costs for overloading, with the fine suspended on payment of costs and application for an additional license. Both appear in Justice H C Churchill’s court.
