Lori Thatcher seven year old daughter of Fred and Mrs Thatcher of Springville was left in serious condition at St Luke’s hospital intensive care after a Sunday car bike collision on a county road north of Whitther. David J Pas Hewat thirty two of Central City drove south toward Whittier when the girl crossed the intersection. He said the bike rider caused the crash and she was thrown to the ground suffering a skull fracture and multiple abrasions. The incident remains under investigation by Linn county sheriff’s department.
