In Salt Lake City early Wednesday a blaze at the Lil Haven nursing home killed six elderly men and injured 11. Fire officials said the fire started on the first floor rear, raced up a stairwell, and spread to bedrooms. smoke and asphyxiation caused most deaths. Only one resident survived unharmed. the kitchen area remained untouched.

Swim Classes Return For Cedar Rapids Public Schools
