Postal workers rally against federal cuts in Des Moines

More than 100 government workers gathered outside the Federal Building in Des Moines to oppose a blue ribbon commission’s suggested federal spending cuts. Roy Braunstein, a Washington postal workers' lobbyist, warned the recommendations led by J. Peter Grace could dismantle the U S Postal Service and replace it with private delivery firms.
