Plane crash near Hartselle kills Marion family members
A twin engine plane reported engine trouble while traveling from Lakeland Florida to Huntsville Alabama crashed in a rural field near Hartselle at 11 17 am killing six people including five members of a Marion Iowa family the Champion family. Phyllis Beitz of Plant City Florida also died. The victims ranged from 5 to 48 years old.
