Four Alburnett Road extension options for Marion traffic relief
Anderson Bogert Engineers presented four alignment choices to Marion City Council for extending Alburnett Road. Three would extend south from Boyson Road toward Eighth Avenue, Donnelly Park, or Seventh Avenue Marion Boulevard, while a fourth option would widen roads without an extension. The plan aims to ease congestion on 10th Street and reduce through-neighborhood traffic between Eighth and Central avenues while accommodating future growth.
