Realtor's wait goes unrewarded as board delays case rehearing
The Cedar Rapids Board of Adjustment postponed Mary Doyle's home occupation request at 600 19th St SE after she sat through ten other cases. The panel lacked a full quorum due to member absence and recused itself from hearing the case, which will be resumed next month. The board also failed to decide on Clifford Grother's fire damaged 1205 Third St NW matter, directing a new appraisal before action. A progress report on Larry White's fire damaged 1503 Third Ave SE noted exterior work ready to finish soon and a two month permit extension granted.
