Snoopie the Toy Pomeranian Serves as Mail Carrier and Watchdog
Nine year old Pomeranian named Snoopie lives with Mr and Mrs A C Stewart at 352 Park Terrace SE. The dog hauls in the evening paper and carries sections and items between the Stewarts while they read. Snoopie also delivers morning mail, barks loudly to alert and once helped deter a prowler. Despite asthma and missing teeth she remains active and thrifty, eating modestly and working as a home helper and watchdog. The piece notes interest in sporting breed dogs entering field trials and invites owners to participate.
