Do libraries have to be so confusing to use
This column laments Cedar Rapids Public Library systems for being hard to navigate especially the cataloging by author name and the multiple placements of Kipling and other authors under pseudonyms. It urges clearer starting points at terminals and consistent filing so average readers can find books without expert help. International Literacy Day is noted with praise for library services and facilities.
