NewBo area eyes parking as dense redevelopment proceeds
Cedar Rapids planners argue parking must expand with ongoing NewBo residential and commercial growth near Second Street SE. The Sinclair Group purchased land formerly owned by Brett McCormick for 280000 in December, with city staff planning a parking plan and disposition process for nearby parcels to support a river gateway project and a potential 150-room hotel on Lot 44.
