Hundreds of Iowa residents and visitors gathered in Belle Plaine to watch Union Pacific’s Big Boy No 4014 steam through town on the Heartland of America tour. The 132 foot, 1.2 million pound locomotive develops 7000 horsepower from World War II era design.
