Novak doubles as player and reporter in Cedar Rapids
Former Kennedy standout Matt Novak, a first team all state outfielder and two time American Legion World Series starter, balances league duty with part time sports writing for The Gazette. He recalls his World Series showing, notes team oriented play, and explains his desire to avoid personal bylines while remaining committed to precise, deadline driven reporting.
