Porter shines at cornerback for ISU in win
ISU notes Noel’s steady rise as a multi position contributor. Porter, a 6-4 200-pound former track star from Bettendorf, started and helped limit Hawkeyes while downing a punt at the three yard line. Gilbert, ISU’s pooch punter, downed both punts inside the 20 and kicked a touchback. Hansen, a 6-2 sophomore, added tough runs on third downs and strengthened pass protection as ISU’s No. 1 short yardage option. Campbell praised Noel’s development and leadership as the season progresses.
