Therapy dog launches in Iowa to aid first responders
In Independence a six month old standard poodle named Shakespeare joins Independence Fire and Rescue Association training. First Assistant Chief John Butler, a firefighter of over 30 years, started the program noting the need to address mental health concerns among responders.
