Mistrial in Linn County drunk driving case over breath test reliability

The Linn County District Court declared a mistrial in Wanda Renken's second jury trial on a Nov. 25 third offense drunk driving charge after jurors failed to reach a verdict. Renken, of Cedar Rapids, faces a third trial in a case carrying a class D felony penalty up to five years in prison and a $1,000 fine.
