Matchless Mini Country By Nino Lo Bello Special to The Gazette
Liechtenstein, a 60 square mile microstate in the Alps, is a tax friendly, crime free realm with 15,000 inhabitants. Its economy relies on factories making pocket calculators and other goods, plus a large jewelry and art collection at Prince Franz Josef II. The country has no army, no airport, and a curious long standing war with Prussia, dating from the 19th century. Visitors can sit in three countries at the Naafkopf peak and may meet the prince shopping in Vaduz.
