Immigrant Clock Tower marks 50 years of museum work in Cedar Rapids
The Czech and Slovak Museum commemorates 50 years with a $1.15 million phase one renovation finishing the Buresh Immigration Clock Tower. The project honors immigrants from Czech, Slovak and Moravian lands, featuring a Prague orloj clock and 4 sided tower with new figurines by Andrej Harsany. Attendees include Czech President Petr Pavel and Slovak President Peter Pellegrini.
