Symphony To Honor Czechs At Concert
The Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra opens its 34th season under Henry Denecke at Coe Auditorium 8 pm Wednesday with Czech music. The program includes Dvorak Symphony No. 5 and Smetana The Moldau, dedicated to Czech Cedar Rapids supporters of the Czech Festival. Tickets priced 6 7 and 8 dollars are on sale at local music stores and will be available at the box office. The concert also features Suk Serenade for Strings and a Czech tribute note from Stevan B. Smith.
