County Approves Beverly Area Rock Quarry Site

Linn county board of supervisors approved a rock quarry site near Beverly, authorizing 3.67 acres in College township along Indian Creek and setting the purchase price at 1,835 dollars minus 10 for the option. They also authorized laying 5,154 feet of steel gas main on Cottage Grove avenue east from Thirty-fourth street and approved A. A. Schenken as Marion county assessor bond.
