Revelation Lectures At Church Of God Ended
Evangelist Cecil E. Chapman closed a series of Revelation lectures at the Church of God on L avenue and Eighth street NW. He argued that Genesis to Revelation does not teach a thousand-year earth reign, citing Revelation 20 about the souls beheaded for Christ. He said the Middle Ages fulfilled that scripture and that Christ's kingdom is not of this world. Chapman will campaign in Lincoln, Nebraska, and may return to Cedar Rapids to repeat the lectures.
