Schools plan libraries for family life education materials
The district will store PL materials in eight school and center locations to support a permanent parent library system. PL items may be used by parents to counsel children on sex topics but will not be used in classrooms. A Gazette editorial urged parents to review school plans, with seminars and film showings to follow. Mrs. Kenneth Byerly, family life education project leader, misplaced a list of about 50 names and addresses of people wanting the staff report.
