Snow Falls Across Much of Iowa With Varied Accumulations
The National Weather Service reports snow across most of Iowa on Saturday except for a western Missouri River corridor area and the southeast. Snow totals ranged from trace to two to four inches in the northwest, with Eastern Iowa seeing little to no accumulation. Sheriff departments cited slippery roads in several counties and brief blizzard-like conditions in Fayette County. Night temps mostly in the 20s. Marshalltown 19, Cedar Rapids 18, Shenandoah and Lamoni 45. The forecast calls for a chance of rain or snow in eastern Iowa today.
