Afghan boy heals with help from Mooresville charity
Salim a 14 year old from Kabul who lost his left arm in 2013 near Kabul underwent multiple surgeries in Charlotte after arriving through Solace for the Children. Doctors from Orthocarolina and Novant Health Prescott Medical Center adjusted tissue and planned a new prosthesis while staying with Sandy and Jim Gray of Mooresville. Solace for the Children founded by Dick and Patsy Wilson operates on donations and volunteers with projects in Afghanistan and other nations.
