Sutton Critiques Education Conference in Iowa
James Sutton former University of Iowa student leader and National Student Assn executive vice president criticizes the Governor's Conference on Education in Des Moines. He says the format blocked meaningful dialogue and that questions to panelists were not allowed. He cites lack of opportunity to scrutinize views of Sen. Flatt and Dr. McCracken and questions the focus on social adaptability and funding.
