The Lincoln Joint Stock Land Bank of Lincoln Neb auctioned two large farms in Eldorado Fayette county. The 450 acre John T Franzen farm east of St Lucas sold to Joe H Lee and Hugo Franzen for 15000 dollars with two full building groups and part of a third. The Finnegan farm of 274 acres between West Union and Castalia sold to Fred Kipp for 11234 dollars or 41 dollars per acre.

In Rowley a dissolution sale of Frank Weiher and Clarence Hopf saw corn bring $9.50 to $18 an acre. Oats sold at 42½ cents a bushel, hay $7.75 to $9 a ton. Geese brought $1.15 to $1.30 each and pullets 60 cents. Four horses sold $15 to $43 and fifteen cows $33 to $69 per head.
