Milwaukee Abandonment Move Seen for Iowa Corridor
An IDOT spokesman said Milwaukee Railroad may file a notice of intent to abandon 125 miles of mainline from Green Island to Tama, eastern Iowa, by year end after filing its system diagram June 1. The ICC will decide after hearings and public comments, with 35 days to file protests once notice is filed.
