Joshua Williams 63 of 612 Fifteenth Avenue SE Cedar Rapids died Thursday after brief illness. Born November 15 1908 in Vaughan Mississippi he worked for Custom Components Co. Widowed Pinkie Julious. Charles E Anderson 75 of 2747 Bever Avenue SE Cedar Rapids died Wednesday after a long illness. Born December 7 1896 he married Mae Saylor 1924. Employed by Iowa Electric Light Power Co. for 20 years. Surviving wife. Services Friday Chapel of Memories Cedar Memorial Cemetery with military and Masonic rites. Leo Rohlena 75 of 1800 Second Street SW died Thursday after a long illness. Born in Fairfax June 5 1897 he farmed in College township until retirement in 1966. He was a life member of Hanford American Legion post and Cedar Rapids aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving wife Tillie Kopecky married Oct 10 1967 at Vinton a daughter Mrs Donald Olson a son Marvin a stepson Robert L Asenbrewer two grandchildren a brother Charles two sisters Mrs Emil Cech and Lillian Sebetka. In Elsinore California three prospectors found the skeleton identified as Warren B. Hudson, a former military pilot involved in a marijuana smuggling scheme with the Hell's Angels. Prosecutors say Hudson and two men killed him after attempting to double cross the gang and steal $64,000 in the 1968 shipment. Lawrence Fassler, Edward Chandler, and Ken Oldright face various murder and conspiracy charges.

Timothy Allen Quass 4, son of Ronald and Mrs. Quass of Independence route 3, died Wednesday night in a Waterloo hospital from cancer. Survived by parents, a brother Ronald Jr., grandparents Ralph Williams and Edward Quass, great-grandmothers Violet Williams, other great-grandparents, and is at White funeral home. Services set for Saturday at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Orlando W. Wilson, famed criminologist at UC Berkeley who helped reform the Chicago police after a 1960s burglary scandal, died Wednesday in Poway California at age 72. He served as an army colonel during World War III and later worked on Gen. Lucius Clay's staff in Berlin after the war.
