They were charged with disturbing a religious congregation. the sixth participant was not arrested. Carter defended their objective but said disrupting services was wrong.
The Treasury's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms weighs powdered alcohol from a Japanese firm for sale in pre mixed cocktails in the United States. If approved, drinks would be prepared by adding water to packets or foils, with potential appeal to campers and other travelers.
