Grandparents tax help for grandchildren could cut your bill
Many U S grandparents can gain extra dependency and medical expense deductions by proving they provide more than half their grandchildren's support. Tips include directing payments to specific grandchildren, writing checks to the son with notes on the intended recipient, and prioritizing medical expenses to boost deductions. The 1979 law raises possible deductions and allows dependents to earn up to 1,000 dollars while preserving the grandparent’s own deduction.

The program, sponsored by the Institute for Serving Secretaries, offers a two day six part test in May at Kirkwood, with NSA figures noting a national need for secretaries and CPS advantages in salaries.
