Jepsen Defends Iowa Fundraising Against Clark Ties
Des Moines UPI Roger Jepsen denies parallels between Dick Clark's out-of-state labor funding and his own support from groups linked to the New Right. He cites Iowa-driven contributions, rejects accusations of big-labor influence, and notes Clark received about 105000 from labor groups and outsiders. Jepsen claims momentum, targets win on Nov 7, and discusses farm policy with emphasis on temporary aid, market-based adjustments, and reducing government role in farming.
