Henry Klotsing organizing a Sunday school in 1876 at Alburnett and the Alice church in 1877, with the present church building erected in 1892, and Covington Church established with services starting 1860s and a brick structure in 1911 under Rev. A F Hahn. The list also mentions Lincoln church in Clinton township built 1901 under Rev J B Meloy, and Immanuel congregation formed in 1877 by Rev E J Schultz and Rev Illien, as part of the Evangelical movement beginning in 1876.
