Education Roundup Highlights Local PTA Workshops and Surveys
Census takers will survey Cedar Rapids and Iowa City households next week for an education study by the Census Bureau to track enrollment from nursery through college. Local PTA leaders will attend training workshops led by Marti Sparrow and Marilynn Butler at Madison Wright and Arthur Elementary Schools. A community meeting on middle schools is set for 7 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church. Robert Foley will speak on effective schools at 7:30 p.m. at the Cedar Rapids school district offices.
