She was an interior decorator and accounts manager and is survived by her mother three children and several grandchildren. A memorial service is set for Oct 29 at Kramer Funeral Home Monticello with a private family service following and memorial funds to plant trees.

Local drug charges filed in Cedar Rapids area
Three individuals face counts including possession of controlled substances and attempt to elude in investigations across Cedar Rapids and Linn County. Bramow allegedly led officers in a vehicle and foot chase with heroin methamphetamine marijuana hydrocodone and alprazolam found on Interstate 380. Jones allegedly possessed eight bags of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a Sept 7 stop. Simmons accused of speeding from officers and possessing methamphetamine and a syringe after Sept 9 stop.
