Cedar Rapids opens $14 million NewBo Sinclair levee project
Cedar Rapids celebrates the start of a $14 million flood protection project for the NewBo district and the Sinclair site. The half mile levee and flood wall will protect up to a 20-foot river rise, with a pump station and detention basin, construction starting this month and set to finish in November 2017.
