Iowa backup QBs eyed for pro careers after graduation
Iowa fans heard coach Hayden Fry praise quarterbacks Tom Grogan and Cornelius Robertson as potential pro prospects. Grogan, a 6 3 200-pound senior from Kansas City, starred as a onfield helper and threw an 86-yard TD pass to Robert Smith. Robertson, a 5 10 190-pound senior from Los Angeles, transfers from JC ranks and has strong pure throwing ability though reads need work. Chuck Long leads Iowa’s offense and may break school passing records.
