Brown pork sausage, drain drippings, and mix with cornmeal flour sugar and baking powder. Stir in egg milk and oil then fold in sausage and pecans. Bake in a greased 9 inch pie plate at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, or until done. Makes six servings.
Roast pork loin in 325 oven with thermometer, 30 to 45 minutes per pound based on cut, rest 15 20 minutes. Braised savory pork with vegetables browns in drippings then simmers 45 minutes, blender carrot sauce poured over pork. Curried pork chops with apples simmers 40 minutes, add apples and raisins 15 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
