End of All Savers Certificates Looms for 1982
Under federal rules no new All Savers Certificates can be issued after December 31 1982. You may keep tax exempt interest for one more year at Perpetual if you stay within the ceilings of 2000 for joint filers or 1000 for single filers. An 8.5 percent rate would need a 17 percent after tax return elsewhere. Call for current rate.
