Land fraud case targets Bernard Whitney and co-conspirator

Federal authorities charged Bernard Whitney and fugitive Reink Kamer in a sweeping land fraud that bilked thousands of investors from the United States and Europe out of up to two billion dollars. The scheme sold non owned land in Utah New York Texas and the Antelope Valley claiming a 10 000 home development and involved as many as 75 projects.
