County deputies switch to computer booking system
Linn County Jail will deploy three computer terminals to process incoming prisoners and access criminal histories. Sheriff Donald Zeller says the system will save time and money and eventually link to the county attorney and court offices. About two weeks to full operation with 24 staff trained and past records entered.
