Hollywoodites Take Boat to McGregor
Actress Agnes Moorehead may get a surprise when Television Writer John Greene returns from a Mississippi river vacation. Greene, a Be-witched writer, toured the McGregor area with Oscar-winning screenwriter James Ruffin Webb and Mrs. Webb aboard their 47-foot houseboat the H. M. S. Pinafore, traveling from Guntersville to McGregor. Webb, who wrote How the West Was Won and The Big Country, recalled army days and river trips with former officers from McGregor and Memphis. The party, all Beverly Hills residents, praised the river region and noted boating hazards and delays en route to California for a movie preview.
